has anyone used this to regulate their cycles? I have a 1 year old, had the Inplant put in 4 months post birth and got it taken out June this year as it didn't agree with me. My periods were ok the first couple of months but now are very irregular (my last period lasted 2 weeks and not had one for 6 weeks).

I haven't used this myself, but a friend of mine highly recommended it to me if I felt my periods didn't regulate after coming off the pill. She used it to regulate her cycle before she TTC her 2nd and she said it was really good.

I took this for about 6 months, it took about 6 weeks to notice a difference and then it worked for me for about 4 months, then nothing so I decided to not buy anymore once my supply ran out.

I took this for 2 months, 1st month i went from a 40 day cycle right down to a 31 day cycle.. Thought GREAT!
Continued to take it but the following cycle it went back to 39 days!

I caught using soy isoflavones which also helps regulate your cycle and ovulation. Although i still had a longish cycle i still ovulated and fell pregnant.
You can buy it in tesco down the womens health vit section xx

Oh il have to look into that - thanks!

Another question - should I wait until AF (finally) comes until I start AC or start taking it now?

They do say from cd1 before most women stop it after ovulation.
Some research claim carrying on can be a risk to mc.. But other websites say its safe to take until you get your bfp.

Have a read up and u can decide which way u want to do it :) xx

I started taking AC mid cycle as I was having a long one and didn't want to wait. I did loads of research and there is no evidence to support the stopping after ovulation claims, in fact there are studies that show it helps to prevent mc if you take it right through tri 1. I took mine for the whole cycle. It did work and shorten my cycles initially but then suddenly made no difference to me.

I also tried soy, I did ovulated on the first cycle of that but after that I didn't so I think that was just a coincidence and it didn't work for me.

You shouldn't take ac and soy at the same time and you also shouldn't take either if you are having any kind of fertility treatment.

Yeah I also decided to take it rheoughout my cycle too as i couldnt find enough info to justify stopping xx

Took my first AC this morning! Ready to get baby number 2 on the way!!!

I have researched AC but haven't been able to take it up to now because it interacts with Clomid but I'm thinking about taking it this month, does it just regulate your cycle? As my cycles have been regular (28-30 days)
Is it worth starting? I've been TTC 18/19 months

xxxx

I can't believe it - took my first one yesterday morning and AF started a few hours later?! I'm officially on CD 1!!!!
