Sorry in advance for the long post.
I had my LO almost 15 weeks ago, how time flies!
I bled for the first 4-5 weeks then went about 10 days with nothing. Then bled again for about 2-3 days, very lightly. I believed that was my first af after birth but now I'm not so sure.
I had the implant fitted 3 weeks ago but last Saturday I started my af, at first it was light and old blood but as the days have gone on it's become heavier and now it's bright red blood. Also back and stomach pains are getting worse too.
I have never tracked my af as it's never been regular due to having implant before becoming pregnant but normally when I do have one it usually lasts 2-3 days and cramping and back pain usually starts the day before and stops after the second day.
I'm not sure if this is due to having the implant fitted, I can't remember this happening last time, if anything I had a period every 3-6 months, or whether it's just a normal period after birth. I haven't been able to get to the doctors during the week but will try and get seen Monday as some days the pain has been unbearable and never seen so much bright red blood?! (Sorry tmi)
Any ideas if it could be the implant or not? Xx
