advice needed

hi all
i was on the depo provera injection for 4 years and came off it lasst august i still havent had a period however a couple of weeks ago I had unproteted sex for the 1st time since I came off the injection. I was a little bit naive and didnt know if I could get pregnant without a period I asked the doctor hey were cncerned that I hadnt had a period but they also said if you are ovulating then yes you can get pregnant and t be honest I didnt really understand what this meant but looked it up and realised I ave been ovulating and didnt realise, I have had a bit of bleeding dark but only a bit like spotting can this mean I have concieved and if so how long until I should do a test?

Hey, from my experience just follow ur body and kee an eye out for signs...

I was on the depo injection for 6 year, last injection was in November 2007, and periods only returned in January of this year. I did have bllods done for progesterone in nov 2008 which showed that nothing was really happening. Once it looked as though my cycles had returned to a fairly regular pattern I started charting, and it looked as though I was ovulating, however in May I had the progesterone tests repeated and it didn't look as though I was, but took it thatmy body was trying to get into the swing of things. From may I took the summer off from obsessing and fell pregnant in August, unfortunately I mc, but my GP seem to think that as soon as I did ovulate we caught it... I'm not really too sure what is going on with my body but am hoping for more answers today at the GP again.

They do say that it can take a year or more for the depo to completely clear, but I have heard of a few peple on another forum that have fell fairly quickly. If ur GP is willing it may be worth asking for some bloods to be run as it may help u understand where u are a bit easier.

oh, and as the injection cleared, my major sign that it was doing was I became heaps more horny (never clicked before but the injection did suppress my inner sex goddess ) dunno if that info helps

i was on depo for a few months after my son was born, didnt last long tho as i just didnt want any sex at all, thats just not good lol
got the coil after that.

Think DH was rather shocked whan I got my mojo back... big style!!
