Hi, this ttc lark is so confusing. With you not having a period since you have been off the injection then I would suggest going to your doctor just to see whats what I do not know alot about the injection I am afraid but I know that it can take months for the pill to get out your system. I would say(it is a guess though) that the injection will be the same  On a 28 day cycle you would ov around cd 14, so that would be 14 days after ov to testing If that makes sense.

Have you got any symptoms of pregnancy?

I hope I have not confussed you and if I am wrong then someone will correct me.

Good Luck TTC

Hi Louise,

It can take quite some time for depo provera to get out of your system. They say up to 18 months, with the average at 9-10 months. Although by the same token I've read a few accounts of people getting their cycles back and/or falling PG much sooner.

I had my last injection in Oct 2006. I hadn't been having periods either and my cycles started again in September 2007. It can really, really vary though, you might be much faster. I had been on depo for a long time and I am knocking on a bit now :)

When I came off depo I had horrible symptoms. I remember testing quite a bit because they were just like PG symptoms, sore BBs, moody, etc. I was v. hormonal.

I don't know if that helps any, but t'would be a good idea to go see the doc in the first instance. Find out if you could be PG and if not I have heard that they sometimes prescribe the pill for a while to actually kick start your periods.
