Advice for a ttc'er...??

Thought someone on here may have been in my position in the past...

Doc gave me provera to kick start AF as had nothing since stopping pill in Dec. AF will be on any day now as having pains (FINALLY!) Just wondering whether this will be a proper AF and if cycles will continue as normal?

hi babyblues - i came off the pill just before i fell pregnant with my son i think i only had one period... when i came off depo-provera when my son was about 2.5/3yo it took a full year for my cycle to settle back down to normal.. so i think the answer is that it varies from woman to woman. I hope it all happens for you really soon

when I came off Depo it took me just over a year before I had my first AF. I went to see the doc after 9 months and was told that it can sometimes take up to 18 months to get back to normal.

Once I had the first AF my cycles were normal after that, it just took ages to get that first one.
