Absolutely screwed!!!!

Fingers crossed! Hope this last week means we have had all our shit thrown at us in one go lol! Meaning no more hopefully, although i'm loving the letter they sent to OH yesterday, apparently he has told work he has anger issues and is seeing a doctor about it so they are wanting to see his medical records...he has never once told his manager that as he hasnt got issues with anger its bloody anxiety and depression, stupid woman! She sounds a right cow! Jamies mate was getting a lift to work with a colleague but she started an hour before him and so he was sitting in the canteen/staff room for an hour before work and this cow of a manager said to the colleague thats she is very dissapointed in her bringing him to work with her and shes not allowed to do it any more i mean wtf, imo thats out of working hours so cant say that, but seems no one is willing to complain about her!

xx

What !?! They aren't allowed to travel to work together?? Sounds like a boss I had she was a bitch, picking up on little things and your like ETF are you mental? Can u believe my old boss used to sorta bully me? She would call me in the office and tell me I wasn't allowed to talk or reply, and tell me that no one liked me there and that the people I thought were my friends weren't and that I was manipulative and allsorts! Hope karma kicks that birch in the face lol
Well I didn't win the lotto, but I do believe we've had so much shit we gotta have something good!

OMG thats awful, you should have recorded the bitch with a dicta phone and took em to a tribunal, you could be rich by now haha!

We did sod all on the lottery as well, we havent even won £3 on the thunderball in ages lol! I'm sure a nice win is just around the corner

Hey chick

What a carry on, I understand about the tax creds, its so easy to get muddled up isn't it. I'm religious now about keeping everything, wage slips P60's (P60 is the most important one for tax creds)

Your OH's work could well be wanting to get rid, in a subtle way, Its a horrible way for them to do it though, if he's on the sick, alot of places just dont want to fork out extra (to cover your OH's wage & someone elses to do his work) I remember when my OH was working while I was pg with my 1st LO, it was a carpet shop, he put in the forms to get 6 weeks off on paternity leave and 1 week later they pulled him into a meeting & sacked him. I cant mind the reasons now but it was really really petty things you know fine well its just coz they dont want to fund the leave, it was only a small company & they tend to be the worst. This happened about 3 weeks before LO was due, wasn't the best of times, still annoys me when I think about it.

thats really harsh hun, OH works for prostar so a pretty big company, before his sickness they had high hopes for him in managerial roles, funny how things change because he has a mental illness as lets be fair thats what it is!

Hey

I'm really sorry to hear that you're going through a tough time at the moment. That's awful about your OHs boss being a douche and they aren't really helping him out hey. Have you checked about getting a crisis loan from the social to help out in the meantime hun?

It really makes me sad to hear about people getting shit on such as your OH who suffers with his mental health and is trying his hardest to take care of his family by earning a wage. He's out there trying and heartless people like his boss just make matters worse. I appreciate they are a business and need people to be in work but if they were more understanding I'm sure your OH wouldn't have to take as much time off as he'd feel less anxious that they know his situation and are supportive in a way...if that makes sense...

 to you both xx

Ahh thanks hun! Yeah he's going to see about a crisis loan today, we really need em to say yes as the little bit of money we did have has dried up now, we have food in to last about a week and the rents covered for this week, so basically we have a week to sort some money out!

I just have to say that i'm so lucky to have the freinds ive got though, we had arranged a night out a few weeks back as we havent been out together in ages with some of us been pregnant etc, and because of whats happened, rather than cancelling they are taking me out :') bless em all! I'll have to repay the favour when i'm rich and famous

xx

How'd it go today hun? Hope the crisis loan was a positive outcome.

How lovely are your friends! What a truly nice gesture. Hope you have an ace time out. xx

Well he went down to my brothers to ring them, was on hold for over an hour waiting for them to answer and ended up having to hang up as my brother needed to go to work :wall: so he's going down to the job centre today and he's gonna use their phones instead! So fingers crossed he gets some where! Dunno wether dads got something up his sleeve though as he rung last night to see how we had got on with the crisis loan and then aske how we are financially at the mo! I said we have food for the week and the rents covered and a tenner to our name lol so maybe he might help out if we cant get a crisis loan!

And yep...i have a lovely bunch of friends  n thanks, i'll deffo have an ace time, first time out in over a year, gotta make it a good one

xx

You can't ring from job centre hun as its a free number you have to ring from a phone box x stupid really haven't you got a land line at home x

Sent from my GT-I5500 using Tapatalk 2

well thats ridiculous! We have got a landline but obv due to our situation its been cut off :wall: he will probably ring from a payphone then, i've just got in from town and he's not back yet so must be still on with it!

xx

well he's just got back in, because we get money tomorrow, even though its going straight out as rent we could only claim for today and then would have to claim again tomorrow for the week, OH said theres no point claiming for one day so hes gonna ring back and claim tomorrow and then we have to do that every week, what a farce!!!

xx

How are you doing for food etc right now? Could you look up your local foodbank?

We have enough food in to last about a week or so, so fingers crossed that we are able to claim a crisis loan on a weekly basis like they have suggested we do! I think dads on stand by to help out if that fails, just so happens everyone else is skint atm too so we cant get much help from the family!

xx

That's good about the crisis loan hun, not ideal but at least it's something coming in.

Yeah it seems that everyone is skint these days. The cost of living is so much more expensive these days.

Hope you're feeling a wee bit better about things and that your OH gets the help and support he needs. xx

Thanks so much hun :) just hope they dont tell us we cant get a crisis loan, that would be a huge kick in the teeth, i cant see why they would refuse when we have absolutely nothing! Gotta start feeling positive for once but its so hard to when you keep getting kicked back down constantly, feel like someones got it in for us up there!

xx

How has your OH got on in getting a crisis loan today?

Times are really hard for everyone now, I think a lot of people in this country got by by loans from family and friends and now we're all pushed :(

well the good news is they are giving us some money today, bad news, its not loads, £200 to last us while 18th October, which seems a lot but when formula and nappies amount to £30 a week kinda leaves us £70 for shopping, electric, water rates and tv licence (which are paid weekly) may have to contact em and re-set the payment plan going from 24th October when OH gets paid again!

I'm glad you've got something from them. Do you have anything you can sell (Games, old shoes and clothes etc) to generate a little bit extra?

Are your leccy and gas on key meters?
