My GHDs have died an unholy death

They were on top of cooker cooling down yesterday and somehow have worked their way into a pan of oil I think either me or OH knocked them without noticing!

It was the plug that got all greased.....and now wont work at all

Anyone know about getting repairs/replacements? or will I have to buy new ones?


Got a wedding reception at end of the month and I am sooooooooo not going with wavy hair!!! My "do" is untamable without my GHDs

See if you can get them repaired or replaced by GHDs if not get the plug replaced yourself, that may work

aww no i feel ur pain! my GHDs died a month or two ago, i got some nicky clarke ones they were on offer in boots they are jolly good but definately not as good as the king of straighteners that is GHDs of course. one of the stylists at the salon i go to told me as long as they heat up to over 200 degrees they should be pretty decent. and if they are ceramic of course.
