Right so Aoibheann has always had poor circulation . Her little hands and feel are always freezing and can be a bit blue when they are cold I was never worried because her daddy is the same.
I'm starting to worry a little bit though as sometimes her lips and mouth have a bluish colour too when shes cold and last night she really didnt look well when I went to tuck her in .

Shes a very tired little girl this morning despite having slept for 12 hours and is laying on the sofa telling me shes very sleepy , the more I think about this she has "tired times" most days where she wants wrapping up and cuddles. Is this just her wanting a cuddle or is there something underlying?

Basically my question is , am I worrying about nothing ? Or would you be worried too , Im waiting for a drs appointment but Im thinking about going straight to casualty

A mothers intuition should never be ignored hun.

Have you tried NHS Direct to see what they say?

Also as she is young will she not be a priority at the Dr's???

Hopefully it is just a combination of this horrid cold weather and a bit of poor circulation. James wakes up with hands like ice and I've been taking him in with us (he won't let me cover his hands!!)

xxxxxxxxxx

We don't have anything like NHS here :( and our gp isnt open on a Wednesday iving in a tiny village in Ireland has its disadvantages. Ive called now K -doc though so someone will be out before twelve its difficult because my brothers have tummy bugs and Lily cant really be in a waiting room of a drs or hospital . I hope its just her poor circulation but Id like to have someone listen to her heart

She probably needs a heart an lung specialist to look at her. Blue lips and cold hands and feet are quite normal to kids when they are cold but I doubt it should happen in normal house temperatures unless its like 15 degrees in there while she is sleeping?
If her lips don't go blue whole she is crying or running around I would think that can't be sth too serious really but still some things have to be ruled.
By the age of 3 most of "nasty" things would have been diagnosed so maybe its sth simpler? Maybe sleep apnea? Or very big tonsils or nose vegetations?
I hope it's sth simple really as you have enough in your life already.
I wouldn't worry too much tough for now. Maybe call your doctor and make an appointment for her?

Thanks hope . Dr should be out by twelve so that's not too bad . I just want to rule anything out really , the house isn't cold even because I've the heating on . Better safe than sorry but I hate the idea of there being something wrong

Hugs. I'd be concerned as well, but I hope it's nothing serious - definitely a good idea to get her checked out, though xxx

Hope it's nothing to worry about and like you say she just takes after her Daddy. Your defo doing the right thing getting her checked by a Doc, much better to be safe and she gets the all clear xx

Always a good idea to get her checked even if its just to put your mind at rest. Hope it's nothing too serious x

Like the girls have said it's always good to get these things checked out Hun xx

Hi hun, you need to get her checked over asap. Good luck; if it is nothing, then thats good. You need to get her seen though if her lips are blue and she is a lethargic even after a 12 hour sleep it may be more then just circulation problems. I hope all is well xx

Hope it turns put all ok, hope knows what she's talking about, and you really do have enough on your plate  thinking of you. Xx

I agree with the girls, I'd get her checked out. Hope all is ok :hugs:

She's been referred to hospital we have an appointment for Monday .Feels its not urgent as she's fine why crying and playing but that there is a possibility of something underlying so wants more tests .

Good luck with the hospital appointment . I hope it's nth serious  are the boys feeling better?

Starting too . I kept them on fluids today and they had some toast so it's probably just a 24 hr thing
