A bit of a heartfelt one for anyone who has suffered SPD/pelvic girdle pain/any other debilitating thing during pregnancy. I want to say that I support you, to anyone suffering with a toddler, I applaud you.
This has been the hardest 4 months of my life. My daughter has seen me cry, has cried as I have cried and has wiped away my tears. She has mimicked me when I could no longer put weight on my left leg, she has understood that mummy was in pain and tried to stroke it better. She has wondered why mummy couldn't take her to the playground, and accepted it, she has wondered why mummy couldn't pick her up, and accepted it, she has brought me my shoes and my hat in the hope that I could come out with her and daddy, and has accepted that I couldn't.
Now I am getting better and I am feeling stronger. Soon I will be able to go out, I will be able to chase her, I will be able to spin her about. I have a second beautiful daughter to show for all my pain and I am grateful for that.
My daughter will not remember any of this and for that I am thankful.
