9 weeks and funny pains!

Am 9 weeks pregnant now, have had an 8 week scan and all was well (heartbeat and everything!) but I have been getting period type pains again. This time, it spreads all round my lower abdomen (it isn't wind!!!). Am quite worried although I am permanently sick and soooo tired.

Anyway, just wondered if anyone out there felt the same way or if my over-active imagination is just playing up!!

I started getting cramps around the 9 week mark too. I think its just growing pains. If they're really bad ring NHS Direct for advice.

My sickness always reassured me that the baby was still doing alright

i got really bad pains around that time also, i think they are growing pain, but if you get them really bad id call your doc/mw or go to a and e

Thank you for the reassurance. Sometimes, I think I am going mad.

I teach at a very rough school and the job is very demanding. I am on my feet all day with lots of horrible teenagers!

The tiredness is overwhelming at times!
