I've just been to the toilet and I'm bleeding, only light but it's bright red. No pain yet. I have only ever bled in pregnancy when I've gone on to have a miscarriage, so I'm very worried :(

How is it this morning? I had a few occasions of bleeding red blood when I was pregnant with my son and everything turned out fine. Try and stay positive lovely.

I hope youre ok this morning wren. Thinking about you x

The bleeding is heavier this morning and a darker red. It's still not massively heavy just enough to drop in the toilet a bit and quite a bit when I wipe. Pain wise I'm getting the odd very light cramp but nothing major. I have a scan booked for Wednesday morning but I'm sure I'll know by then if it is a miscarriage. X

Could they not get you in sooner.that feels a long time to wait. Try and stay positive....i know thats really tough though x

Hope everything is ok wren thinking about you xx

I would be going to A&e to be honest.

The thing is there's nothing anybody can do to stop it if it is a mc so unless I'm in severe pain I'm not going to A&E. They did have an appt tomorrow morning but it was 9.15 so I'll be at school then. My husband has said he can take one to school before work and I can then get the other in nursery earlier, but now I have to wait till 8am to ring to see if it's still available x

I hope it is still available hun. Hope it goes ok x

I hope everything is ok Wren, I had quite a heavy bleed the other week but it was all ok in the end, it was dark red blood too xxx

Thanks sparrow. How heavy would you say it was and how long did it last?
I've been reading about sub-chorionic hematoma and wondering, praying that it's that.
I had a scan last Wednesday and she did say there was a bleed and said it was probably from implantation. She didn't say it may cause an actual bleed but I'm guessing this is what a sub-chorionic hematoma is, so I'm just hoping that's what it is.
Did you have any pain?
I haven't had any cramps for a while but now I've sat down I'm getting a pain which seems to be more to the right. Making me wince but still not really painful. X

Hey Hun, my cousin bled a lot in early pregnancy between 5 weeks and 7 and she thought she lost the baby (she's 38 weeks now) when she had her scan it showed blood around her cervix and when she had an internal ya know like a smear she said when they pulled the speculum out it was covered in blood which terrified her they told her it was more than likely left over blood from her period that never shed due to been pregnant. I really hope that's the case for you xx

Hi Wren, it soaked through a pantiliner in half an hour, it calmed down and turned to brown over night then I just had some brown discharge when wiping for a few days. I had some very light cramps but I get those now and again anyway. I did a lot of google searches that evening before I went for a scan and I read so many different accounts of bleeding during pregnancy, it seems to be quite common and some women get it on and off continuously. At the scan they couldn't give me any explanation for my bleed. I hope you're able to get that scan tomorrow. In the meantime put your feet up and look after yourself xxx

Hi wren, sorry to read this. I had 2 separate bright red bleeds in early pg this time and all was fine. Fx everything will
Be ok for you. Look after yourself x
