My 6 week old buba is already too long for her pram carrycot! We’ve got the cosatto Wow. The seat for it goes pretty much flat and the straps will go down small enough to fit her. I’ve put an insert in to keep her head stable. The only bit I’ve read about is the bucket bit could be an issue, do I need to worry about that or not really? I don’t know what the actual reasoning is to why they shouldn’t go in the seats even though they go flat?

I'm Not sure what you mean by bucket part but if it lays flat and you have an insert and baby is safe got for it.
Personally I think it's a bit young. My 3 month old is in her carry cot still and goes in a stroller a few times. The seat part to her pram she is still too small for.

I think the main reason is with the support issue...I.e their heads touching their chests and cutting off air, like why babies shouldn't be in car seats too long. I'm not sure if the insert would be enough tbh. I'd prob try keeping her in the carrycotif you can. My daughter didn't go in her seat bit until about 4 months I'm sure? Xx

Ahh see she’s mega long so she’s quite cramped up in the carrycot already and the cosatto one seems really small! These aren’t the things you ever think about when you buy your first pram! :(

No they really aren't. I had a small carry cot with my first and definately wanted bigger for my second.
You would think they are all the same size

You could always get in touch with Cosatto and explain your dilemma, see what they suggest? They've been really helpful when I've asked them about other things.
