4 weeks pregnant with First

Just found we are 4 weeks pregnant with our first. We have onky been TTC for a month so it's a huge surprise.*

I am a huge worrier so finding lots to worry about. Lots to take in. Have a phone appointment with the midwife on Wednesday. No idea what to expect.*

Just feeling a bit rubbish as I am a currently on quite a lot of painkillers for chronic pain (for a back injury aqquired via nursing) so had to come off a lot of them as they aren't pregnancy safe. Seeing the GP this week to see what I can take.*

Hoping work are supportive.

Otherwise both very happy ^-^

Congrats! I am currently 7+1 with my first as well I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a bit daunting!

I'm sure work will be fine. 😀

We are pregnant with our first too, I am 6+5 and we were caught very quick Big congratulations and it's great that you have appointments booked with medical professionals that you can speak to for information and express any concerns.

I'm trying not to worry myself too much, but after being told at 4 weeks we had had a m/c following a small bleed (the Dr's preg test clearly wasn't as sensitive as my Clear Blue test at home), I am just wanting the scan etc to hurry so we can make sure everything is ok! We had our first official pregnancy appointment at the GPs yesterday and the his test this time was a strong BFP! Exciting

All the best and I hope the Dr can sort your meds so you aren't in too much pain.
