I am 33 years old, last pregnancy was 10 yrs ago. just found out I’m pregnant, saw the dr she confirmed. I am having what feels like menstrual cramps consistently for a few days. No bleeding. Should I go to the ER to get checked? The pain is off and on but has me extremely worried.

I had this. Was really painful. But it is also very normal. If u are not bleeding I would say everything is probably ok.

Expect cramping until 10 weeks on and off. Mine was really bad at week 5 and 6. It then went away gradually but kept returning until just after my booking in appt with midwife

Thank you so much. I have two children a 12 year old and 9 year old. But prior to my 12 yr old son I had a miscarriage. Every pain I feel now makes me anxious. Thank you for your reply.

I had horrific period like cramps well into tri 2. It’s your uterus stretching, it’s normal as long as there’s no bleeding. X

I instantly became worried with my cramps having previously miscarried at 6 weeks. I just assumed the worst. But this time there was no bleeding and I am now 28+6. Hope you are feeling ok and my best advice is to put your feet up and relax as much as you can

I had bad cramps at the start around weeks 4/5 and it really worried me because of precious MCs but I’ve recently had a scan and all is fine thankfully. I think it’s just unnerving. I just think of it as a good sign my baby is implanting and my uterus is growing which are all good x

It is a really difficult part of pregnancy I think. You find out v early that you are pregnant but dont see a midwife for ages. After a mc the anxiety was awful and I constantly feared the worst. The weeks dragged and dragged. It seemed forever to get the my 12 week scan.

I didn't do an early scan in the end but yeah first trimester was not fun at all. I'm glad to hear you are getting on ok now though xx

I had bad cramps up until around 8 weeks. It really made me worry (I don’t think people expect to have them at all) but as long as there’s no bleeding I think it’s probably more common than people realise.

I had cramps also! I’m 12 weeks today and I have had them twice at 7 and 11. Saw baby at 7 and 9 weeks and be assured cramping is stretching and normal
