3d scan or not?

I won't be getting one purely because of the cost - however if they can't tell the sex at my 20 week scan I might consider a sexing scan as I'm too impatient for surprises!

Well because I have an anterior placenta they recommend between 24 and 27 weeks so babys face isn't squashed against it lol, ill get better pic as baby will be smaller. It's exciting isnt it! I'm still staying team yellow xx

I would LOVE a 3d/4d scan! As a wannabe midwife Im just so intrigued by all things pregnancy. And I feel bad for OH, I get to feel the movements, kicks etc and he just has to wait til DD. I like how its bonding for daddys. It is expensive and I will be hoping and praying for some sort of money off voucher but as this is the only baby I wish to have, I will probably regret not having it done.
Some pics Ive seen creep me out a little but others are amazing so I guess I just have to pick the right time!
My mums scan pics of me are rubbish, I cant even tell where I am! Hopefully baby will be interested in seeing himself/herself in the womb. An extra pro will be finding out the gender if my 20 week scan doesnt go to plan tomorrow! xxx

Aww i see..Yeah its very exciting,its another date to count down too I know im having a boy if anything it will confirm it 100%. Cant wait to see his little face xx

one of my good friends lauren had one, she got hers at 28 weeks. Alot of people get them alot earlier when the baby hasnt put on weight and is still skeletal looking.

my friend showed me hers and before mirren was born i knew right away, shes her daddy's double! i didnt think it was ugly atall, its a baby!

im paying £180 for my package, and i think its worth every penny for what i am getting with it. there are cheaper packages but i have decided to get the delux which includes large printed photos, a dvd, 30-45 mins scanning, a disk full of pics, sexing, baby progress report and a couple of other things free in the goodie bag.

yes it is a lot of money, but if you want to see your baby's face rather than black and white.. its much better plus - ive spent more than 180 on shoes lol, i think it would be bad if i decided not to get a scan due to the price lol xxxx

i was going to get one this time but then changed my mind. Its alot of money, and to be honest, i like the suspense and excitement of not knowing exactly what your baby looks like. If you know the sex, know what baby looks like, then apart from baby being born, theres no more excitement left - bit like having most of your prezzies before xmas lol

Thats just me though - the pics do look amazing!

I had one done at 26 + 4 and it was amazing. My baby didn't look like an alien at all. I was really worried it would freak me out but she just looked like a baby!!! I didn't see any bits until they deliberately looked for me but they do say they can't guarantee you won't see.

To be honest even if pic did look like an alien id still think it was gorgeous because its mine...I cant wait now!
