37 weeks appoinment

It didnt go that well. I was hoping my consultant would put me out of my misery and give me some drugs that take the pain away and dont make me sleepy but no, nothing. He wont help because it might stop me from having a natural birth. He said he is happy with blood tests and that the pain is only where the baby is pushing out my ribs. But it is only going to get worse (gee thanks)

The good news is baby is now 1/5 engaged (he can only feel 1/5 above my pelvis). Iv had a show so hopefully it wont be too much longer. I really cant put up with another 3 weeks of agony. Im so sick of lieing awake at night crying in pain.

but to be honest you're gonna have to prepare yourself to wait another 5 weeks yet if you anything like mid!!

Hope you don't have to wait much longer.

I am in quite a bit of pain most of the time, and my midwife said today that it's all good. It shows that our bodies are getting ready. (as long as it's not too painful)

I am just a few days ahead of you and my baby isn't engaged yet. xxx
