I would really like baby to arrive now!
I went to the supermarket for literally 10 minutes today and I was in agony, my pubic bone felt broken. I can't sleep as I can't get comfortable (back, pubic or hip pain) and when I do baby decides it isn't. No position I sit in is comfy, I either feel pain from baby's head near my pelvis or its bum in my ribs. I keep being told baby feels a "good" size and boy does it feel a good size to be carrying about! I have constant dull period pain from the pressure (and its not even engaged).
Ok complaint over, I am sure I am not the only one but another 3 to potentially 5 weeks like this is not a good thought....................... I want my baby here.

Join the club! I cried when i came out my last midwife's appointment because she refused to do a sweep cos i wasn't quite 40 weeks! I'm always uncomfortable, i'm in pain and i'm bloody miserable. My poor OH has had to deal with me sobbing every single day/night because i'm rapidly losing my ability to cope with it. People keep trying to remind me its nearly over, but it doesn't feel like it!

I feel your pain, literally!!! I feel bad complaining, because I know so many ladies would give everything to be in my position, but I'm just in so much pain! Im 33+2, so I have ages to go still... I'm in despair at the thought of having to keep walking with my crutches everywhere!

Luckily for my OH, he's offshore in Russia, so my crying at night time especially doesn't bother him... He just has to read my moaning emails about how much I hate my life at the moment! I bet he's dreading coming home to me!!!

xx

Aw girls  I can't pretend to know how you feel (yet) would a bath help at all? Maybe that's a daft suggestion, I don't know.
I had a bad back for a week with ligament pain when this one was growing and a bath really helped, with muscle soak in it. Just makes you feel so much lighter in the water :)
Sorry if that's a bad suggestion, can't think of much else x

I don't seem to fit properly in a bath, i'm always so uncomfortable. Its better when i'm not trying to read though

I can't get out of the bath......... I actually got stuck on the loo the other day and had to should my DH to help me up as my back went into spasm! It makes me laugh now but didn't at the time. Being pregnant is so pretty sometimes! Don't get me wrong it is totally worth it but an hours break from the discomfort would be good right now.

My OH is no longer allowed near me when i'm on the loo, last night i didn't lock the door - risky since we live with his brother, although he has more sense than to just open it when its shut and the light is on. My OH on the hand didn't notice that i wasn't in bad, and pushed the door open really hard, right into me

I got stuck in the bath last time I tried! We're living in a rental house and the bath is really small! It's horrible because I just moved out of my student house in June and my bath was HUGE there, I miss it!

Last time I had a bath, a nerve got trapped in my back (probably similar to you yorksmummy) and I couldn't move! And now my SPD is so bad, I can't move my legs apart properly to climb out of the bath even when my back isn't spasming!!!

xx
