36 week growth scan

Anyone that's had a 36 week growth scan, what was your baby's estimated weight compared to their actual birth weight?

I didn't have one with my daughter, but I have one on Wednesday and I'm just curious about what size this one will be!

I had one with my daughter, it was estimated she would be around 9lb but she was born at 39 weeks 7lb 8 x

Haha I always laugh when I remember what I was told!

I had mine at 36 weeks too and was told I was having a baby that was at least 10lb and pushing 11lb! It’s scared me senseless! When DS arrived he was 7lb 9oz.... I asked them to weigh him again !

My hospital gave a 3rd scan as standard when I was pregnant with my first.

He was large side of average. Estimated to be 8lb at 40w. Was 7lb 8oz at 40+9. 25th centile.

I had a growth scan at 35 1/2 weeks and they estimated my baby was already 6lb 5oz. I had 3 growth scans and all 3 times was told my baby was big. He was born at 38 weeks and was 6lb 3oz so was never going to be big even at 40 weeks! x

36 weeks estimated weight was 8.11lbs she was born at 38 weeks weighing 8.7lbs x

I had a scan at 40 weeks and they said she was 6lb 7,she was born 7 days later and was 8lb 9. Not sure I'll trust the scan weights this time lol x

I'm not expecting it to be spot on but I am just so curious!

Baby was estimated to be 2lbs 13 oz at 28 weeks.

I'm one of the few (bar snowbee is see!) that has had an accurate estimate. My 36week scan said he was 6lb and he was born the next day at 6lb!

I have no idea why it varies so much.

I have a 28weeks scan tomorrow and apparently the estimate is more accurate at that gestation so maybe see what percentile baby was at your 28weeks scan compared to your 36week?x

I'm not that far along yet but my sis had growth scans every week with her last baby, as the previous one was huge and then this one they thought was really small. She ended up enduced two weeks early but they were expecting a baby up to 6lb. He came out at 7.5lbs!

Baby's estimated to already weigh 7lbs 12oz at 36+3! My daughter was born 7lbs 8oz at 40+2! This one is going to be huuuge at birth!
