5.2 lbs at 32 weeks

Hi ladies just waiting to see consultant after another growth scan. Measurements put me at 33 weeks and estimated weight today 5.2 lbs making estimated birth weight 9.2lbs and this is my first. I'm scared to death ouch!! xx

Update
Seen doctor. Having 36 week scan to make sure LO is growing normally. If all ok will be booked for induction at 38 weeks as I'm told women over 40 are high risk for placentas to suddenly stop working and an epi to be administered as soon as I get onto ward. Feeling much better now xx

hey hon...dont worry....thats not a huge birth weight......i am saying this cos i am likely to be the same..lol

mine weighed the same at 32 weeks too...i have another scan at 38 weeks. and i 'think' they may look to see if i am favourable for an induction around that time too....we shall see...

my friend is tiny...and i mean tiny...and her first was 9lb 7 and her 2,3 and 4th kids were all over 10lbs and she hardly needed a stitch....so we will be fine...

i also think i may opt for an epi though too......just so i relax more and dont panic all the way through that im not going to be able to get it out xx

Awwww glad you feel better now hon and sounds like they're taking good care of you. Update us with everything though! xxxxx
