haven't updated or posted on here for a while...
I've been having weekly midwife visits at the doctors to check my blood pressure due it being high last month at my consultant and scan appointment at 32 weeks.
anyway every week its been creeping up this week it was 148/86...midwife said she wasn't too pleased with it and that it needs to be checked again on friday with a home visit from someone from the community midwife team so sometime tomorrow between 8am and 5pm someone will come and see me.
bit awkward as i have the kids to take to school and to pick up lol.

anyway she checked bump measurment and measuring at 34 weeks so a week behind said could be that he has slowed down with growth or has stayed the same said i've got a growth scan next week so will know more then but told her i wont be surprised if my blood pressure it still high at my consultant appoitment if i have to stay in and end up being induced the next day just like i was with Mia.
hoping that everything will be okay just dont want to let me blood pressure get worse as i was in hospital for a week as they couldn't control it and ofcourse with mia being prem she had to stay in cuz of her blood sugars and body temp issues

did you have any protein in your urine hun? if not then hopefully they will just give you medication to stable it

none at all the midwife asked if had medication in previous pregnancies for blood pressure i told her no not til after the birth of my 2nd 3rd and 4th i was sent home with them from the hospital.
she said she will go with what the consultant decides. i've already spoke to consultant before with saying once it starts going up past 145/80 i don't want to risk it getting worse as it was really bad with my 4th i ended up being induced the day after my scan and consultant appointment i had to stay in straight after i saw the consultant. plus my daughter had stopped growing so i'm expecting either the same or similar next week when i go for my growth scan and seeing the consultant.

x

ive had high blood pressure in both of mine. first i had pre eclampsia and he stopped growing so had to have him at 37 weeks, second i jist had high bp and they managed to control it with tablets till 40 weeks and then i had him. hope its ok next time

This is what happened to me! I went in at 38 weeks for reduced movements when my blood pressure had been creeping slightly they took my blood pressure and was really high kept me on monitor sent me for a scan said baby had only gained few ounce in 4 weeks took blood pressure again and decided to induce me. I was 38+4 they gave me the tablets but it just didn't help to even lower it a little bit labour was fine as soon as baby was out blood pressure returned to normal. Hopefully everything goes smoothly for you and blood pressure goes down and you can enjoy last few weeks of pregnancy xx

i was kept in at 36 weeks with my last pregnancy as my daughter stopped growing and my blood pressure was really high. i just keep thinking it will more than likely happen again this time. have my 36 week growth scan and consultant appointment on wednesday this week so i'm making sure my hopsital bag is all finished just gotta get my bits and pieces then its done.
when midwife came friday my blood pressure normal :/ which is weird she said it was 126/86 which is weird/strange for me and no protein in urine sample just leukocytes :/

i'm ready to have this baby now tbh
