35 weeks and period cramps

I'm 35 weeks now and have been having period cramps specially on my lower right side. I've had them just about every day on and off. Is this normal? How long does this last until real labor?

Yes this is completely normal. I've started getting them since around week 35 and found out from the midwife that baby has started to engage so this is why I've been getting the cramps All good signs your body is getting ready for labor!
