2ww symptom spotters guilty pleasure thread

It's so hard after being on the pill to know what's going on in there, you can start to monitor your cycles a bit more now hun x

I'm not bd'ing or doing opks this month, it's a massive relief, like a weight lifted :) x

Morning girls. Day or 2 until I'm due on and feeling nothing apart from instinct that the witch is going to arrive soon. Rubbish feeling :-( x

Argh!! Thought the witch had arrived last night, but no just weird cm :wall2:

I'm now 3 days late and every test is BFN. Feels like Af is trying to make an appearance, sore boobs and cramping but its taking its time!

Argh!! Thought the witch had arrived last night, but no just weird cm :wall2:

I'm experiencing the same :wall2: Think I'm past caring now though...

In Dreams - can't believe you're still waiting for AF. What day are you on now? I'm hoping I don't have another long cycle this month but who knows. x

Day 46 I think. Yeah, I was hoping that the coming off the pill wouldn't affect me so much, turns out I was wrong! Hope you don't have a another long cycle too x

I know what you mean! I'm CD 50 and feel like I'm going mad :(
Going to pay a visit to the GP today if I can get an appointment as I'll have been off the pill a year in Dec  and I'm still not having regular periods! x

Arrgghhh girls sorry to hear you're all having a tough time. I don't want to get false hopes up but some women only show positive pregnancy from blood tests, anyway hope your GP gives you the answers you really need.

I was out by 8 days last month, hoping she doesn't mess me around this month so I can gauge when I'm OV. It would be too much to think the stork caught me this month....

xxx

Yikes, that is a long time. No wonder you feel like you're going mad. Really hope your doctor can give you some answers :hugs: What pill were you on if you don't mind me asking? x

Thanks Tara x However, any hopes of being pregnant are long gone now!

To be honest I'm very shocked how contraceptives have affected SO many women on this forum. Surely there should be more warnings for women who are trying to prevent pregnancy. I'm getting angry just writing this because my GP threw pills at me when I was 14 to regulate my periods, touch wood I'm ok at the moment but we really don't know how it affects us. If I have a little girl I'm going to educate her before she decides on birth control. xx

I was on Cilest. Its what I was on before I had AJ but I tried the implant (I'm allergic to it) before going back on the pill as we didnt think we would have more children so soon.

Thank you ladies. I'm in shock GP was very helpful and actually listened, I knew she was good  I've having some tests done this pm and I have to see her again next week, about referrals to see someone. x

What a relief for you Charlie, it's awful how many women have to battle with their GP's to be heard. Glad you had a positive outcome and can move onwards with suggestions from the GP. xxx

I can honestly agree with you on that one, I was on the pill on and off from 16 - 18. It took me three years to get caught finally I did try long term with different partners I had two in that gap. (don't want to sound like a whore) lol.

I went on patch after my son was born and I think its ten times better as you change it weekly so it doesn't build up as much I think in your system. I got my 2nd baby after 2 months of being off it.

I hope you girls get the same soon :D x

Hey ladies, I have been a silent member for a little while now just to scared to say anything!

I can relate to all who were put on the pill when they were 16 because I was the same the doctor told me it would regulate my period and make them less painfull!! Well the pill did that but also made me completely barmey so after a year I came off it....best thing I ever did.

My husband and I have been TTC for three months now and we haven't had any success.....

My period is due today and it is yet to show but I am almost certain that it will.....

Just so fustrated because I knew that it wouldn't happen immidiately but I didn't think that TTC would be this emotionally draining, I am at work and I am probably hormonal but I just want to burst into tears because I am so fed up with it all....

I know it has only been three months and I hope that I am not annoying anyone who has been on this journey longer but I just love reading the support you all give eachother.

Long story short I was adopted at birth so I don't know my biological history and all this uncertainty is making me think that it will never happen!!

Sorry for the rant.... but fingers crossed for everyone!!

x

It's a daunting time for all of us, but I can't imagine how it is for you not knowing your family history. Please don't feel bad, we are here to support each other no matter how long we have been ttc. Feel free to vent, rant, question or anything you want, that's what pf is here for xx

I'm on CD11 of my second cycle since coming off the pill and have started using OPKs and hoping to have a shorter cycle length this month.

In Dreams - are you still waiting for AF?

x

Hey ho my sexy ladies it's almost ov time again so I'm popping by to see you all. I was hoping ov would be today but opks are saying different we have being dtd every second day so I'm hoping I am in with a good chance this time. Maybe cycle 13 will be lucky for me.
Good luck to all xxxxxx

Hi Amy
Everyones 2ww comes around so quick, my cycles are soooo bloody long o have one like every two months.
Wishing you all the best of luck. I'm going to be a spectator this time, I haven't used opks at all and I haven't bd'd either, not bothering with this cycle. I find after I've had a stressful cycle and bfn that I can't try immediately after, I have to get over it and psych myself up to try again.
At the moment I have some potentially exciting things in the pipeline workwise so I may not ttc again xxxx
