Any other 2nd time mums out there who are terrified about the labour??? With my forst I wasnt worried at all becouse I didnt no what to expect and it was 21 hours of painfuo labour and a cut with stiches :( I am relaly scared about this labour, want it to be quicker this time and hopefully no cut xxx

Im not terrified just hope it's not like my last birth with my son!

mummy to ds 11/7/11
pregnant *team pink* due 12/9/13

I'd say I'm more apprehensive than terrified. I had a hideous emergency section and was hooked up to all sorts of drips for a few days after the birth. That isn't likely to happen again as I'm being closely monitored for pre-eclampsia, so if there are any signs of it I'll be booked in for a section.

I'm in the process of deciding whether to have a VBAC or go for an elective section if I don't develop pre-eclampsia. It's a really difficult choice because there are pros and cons to both.

last time I did nt have a clue what was going to happen !! but this time I now whats coming ! kind of scares me

Ywah sorry not terrified thats the wrong word bjt I am deffinalty scafed x

I was just thinking this reading the other post in here, you dont know whats coming first time. This is my third, first labour was ages and assisted and after i was so ill so i was dreading my second but it was quick and easy and i felt 100% 2 days later but im still a bit worried about doing it again its funny cos when your ttc you block that bit out of memory haha oh well too late now but generally second time is easier so i wouldnt worry too much fx for a speedy lovely birth for you x
