2nd sweep today

Things are getting better. MW managed to feel baby's head! Having another sweep at the beginning of next week if nothing happens before then. I've also been booked to be induced next Friday Really not happy as I have to go to the hospital for it and I hate the hospital. They wont do it in the birth centre as there's no doctors there. And now we need to arrange transport to get to the hospital as its a half hour drive!! Grrrrrrr!!!!!!! Starting to lose my rag now

When I had my sweep and the MW felt Brooke's head, I started getting contractions the next day! Have you had a show yet? Fingers crossed things get moving for you soon xx

Sorry to hear that, at least you have something to focus on though, & you still have another sweep, so try not to worry too much, i'm sure you'll go before induction.

Maybe try another tactic.....tell baby you aren't ready for them to come yet. Would be nice to know if reverse psychology works before they are born.

Good luck traci, I had 2 sweeps and was booked in for induction, and went into labour at 2am morning of the induction! Hopefully things get moving for you

Well MW said she would ring me today to arrange another sweep. She rang this morning and said "I'll be round in an hour!" No change since Friday's sweep. Another one booked for Wednesday!!

how far will they let you go before inducing you? I've got 2nd sweep on Weds when I'll be 40+12. i didn't know you were still allowed them after 42 weeks?
