We're having our 2nd bundle soon, first will only be 20.5months, so we have lots of the essentials. We are purchasing a double buggy (think we have decide de on uppababy vista 2015), but I've not got anything else yet. I feel that although we have lots of gender neutral gear (we're team yellow again), that this baby deserves to have few things that are just theirs!! For those of you who are having your second, what have you bought for new baby?

A Moses and a buggy mainly! We were given so many things for ds, I've only bought a pack of vests, a pack of sleepsuits and a top for when he's older and that's it! If the scan is wrong and he is actually a she, we're a bit up the creek  I didn't see much point in buying loads of new bits though, they're hardly in them long enough really, are they?

We have new bottles, new breast pump, new changing mat, bounce chair and new clothes and that is about all x

We're the same. LO will be 18 months when baby arrives. We've stayed yellow again so all newborn stuff is neutral. We've ordered the uppababy vista and need to buy new bottles but think that's about it. We'll pick up some new clothes once LO arrives.

My lb is 5 but we do still have some stuff from when he was a baby. We were very lucky and got given a lot when we had our lb but we either gave it back or passed it on when we'd finished with it. I did talk hubby into a new pram even though ours was a very good 1 before and we've still got it lol! We got a new crib, new monitors, steriliser and all the bits, a swing, I've bought white vests, a vest and outfit suitable for a girl and another for a boy as we're team yellow!
I'm currently looking through the Mothercare sale preview to look for bargains lol! Xx

I've bought very little! New mattresses for pram, cot and moses basket, new dummies, new teats for bottles, plus a few little new outfits but not a lot as it's our second boy. I'm using DS' s old pram but have bought a new colour pack and changing bag to make it feel a bit newer! Oh new nursery furniture as well since DS is still in his cot bed and using his furniture, it was second hand off a local selling site though so not really new.

Reusing just about everything else, it's been so cheap this time round! Xx

We're exactly the same - our daughter will be 20.5 months when number 2 is due! Also team yellow again! Feel a little guilty about how little I have bought this time around but still have all our neutral newborn clothes and all the other essential bits and pieces! Treated myself to a new electric breast pump, bought a newborn pack of vests and sleep suits, some nappies and a new teddy bear and other than things for my hospital bag that's about it! Poor baby hasn't even got a newly decorated nursery as we are expecting to do some renovations on the house very soon - so not much point as baby will probably be in our room for first 6 months anyway! Xx

Feel a little bit better now, I just don't want to waste money we don't have but will definitely have a look in sales & see if I can pick up one or two new outfits for new lo. My little girl is still in her cot so will see how we fare out with Moses basket, before deciding if we need a new cot too!

I had three in 5 years, I kept a lot of stuff to re use in that time.
This is my fourth and very unexpected, I've probably spent more on this baby then the other three put together. But I did get rid of everything because I wasn't having anymore xx

we are re using so much of harrys stuff as he will noly b just over 19months when this one arrives next month. We have got a new cot mattress and bottles and I did buy a new sterzilier but only coz I didn't really like my old one. Just got the clothes out today to wash and love seeing them all again. will but a new going home outfit but know I will get loads given to me when we know the sex.

Oh n sum new burp cloths and thought I would try the jonhsons first baby wash etc as I don't think that was around before.

Did have to get a double buggy too but got that second hand for £100 so all in all much less than first time round.

Michelle. x

Jess picked out dinosaur sleepsuits in next today :-) first purchase for new baby. Planning on making do as much as possible and haven't decided if to get a double buggy or not. I'm hoping I can use sling again for first 3-4 months? May be optimistic!

My daughter will be 22 months when her brother is born :)

I am reusing some of my gender neutral clothes as I stayed team yellow last pregnancy I have quite a few newborn sleep suits I can reuse but I have gone out and bought him lots of lovely new boy clothes in 0-3 months :D

I bought brand new bottles and a prefect prep machine to take the pain out of formula night feeds.

I have also bought a new buggy as obviously I also needed a double. I am reusing my daughters moses basket but will be buying baby a new cot as my daughter is still in hers.

I will buy him a couple of new little baby rattles etc as my daughters are all rather girly but the rest of the toys are pretty gender neutral and the playmat etc will be reused.

I will also be getting a new car seat as I sold my daughters first one and she is still using her current one.

I am also reusing the baby bath etc etc.

The only other thing I am debating getting new is a bouncy chair. My daughters old one is pink with extremely girly toys and although everyone tells me baby won't care I am tempted to sell my old one and get him his own. If I buy another I will get something neutral though as we have not ruled out a third and final child in a few years time so would be keeping it in case. I am tempted to just get the Tiny Love 3 in 1 rocker when it is on offer TBH as it can also be laid flat and used for naps and I am thinking it would be handy for sleep after night feeds if I don't want to take him back upstairs to his moses basket. TBH I found if I got up in middle of night with my daughter I would usually just crash out on sofa with her next to me in moses basket (on a stand) as it was easier than keep disturbing OH every couple of hours. I formula feed hence the need to go downstairs and use the kitchen lol x

I didn't buy as much for my second. It was mainly a new cot, new bottles, a new bouncer and we did buy a few new clothes. Lots of other people bought him new clothes etc too when he was born. We also got a double buggy as my oldest is two, but it was second hand. I couldn't justify spending the money on a new one when our old single pram is fine.

Pretty much everything, apart from some clothes and toys that I saved from when my DS was a baby.

He's nine now, and I moved from the UK to Norway in between there too - so had to get rid of a lot. Having said that, a lot of the things I had from last time were cheap things that were falling apart anyway - thankfully in a better financial situation now, and the things we have bought for this baby are decent quality and will hopefully be used for another baby in a couple of years time :)

We haven't bought anything yet (eek) but need everything new as I threw away all my daughter's things!

I have a 3 year gap. We are using same cot, new mattress. New bottles and some new sleepsuits for newborn and 0-3. We're using same bouncy chair, jumparoo, play mat.
Hubby has said I could get a new pram but I'v not seen any I like more than the one we have for our daughter.

I feel a bit bad about not having the same buzz as before with this baby.

19 months between by 2

I've bought new mattress and furniture set and bedding for it etc , double pram and car seat, clothes 3-6, new pink bits etx but mainly will be all my sons gender neutral 0-3 clothes

Urm, a few bits friends have gotton me like a bath seat. I've got Moses basket - using same mattress as it's mint and was only used for 8 weeks. Got same rocking chair and don't need any other toys etc as all my
Lamaze stuff is in perfect condition. I may get a playmat - and bestie buying a girl sit me up cosy thing from Mothercare

Using Same steriliser- have a perfect prep ( tho will BF for a while hopefully as I did last time )

Will have new bottles

That's about it :) I think LOL

8 years between mine so had to buy everything all over again lol :) x

Brought a double tandam pushchair and will reuse my sling and single where I want smaller , but we don't have a car this time so need transport of some sort. We didn't get a bouncy seat last time and so wont this time. A third boy in a row is easy but clothes do only seem to last two ! Ive been quite ruthless throwing out and clothes banking, just keeping my faves and going to car boots and baby sales to get second hand bits. First pack of babygrows are brand new for hosp first wearing as I keep them after in babies special box unique to them. Younger brother has been chucked out of cot 4 mths ish ago ready for baby to move in! Pram top from last pushchair will be used as a day bed in lounge on chasis to keep son off of baby too :)

Bf so not using bottles but will dig out two and boobie pump incase needed again.

Need to buy some huge new muslins for covering me up when bf in public. Once they are washed they are never the same size!
