Im 29 weeks and i found out last week that LO is breeched but because I have quite a bit left the midwife is convinced he will turn - im not too sure tho. I am very petite and i already feel like there is no space left in there.
And now to top it all off, i feel as if LO's kicks have suddenly become very low (like i felt a kick in my hip, which was extremely uncomfortable) and my belly is hanging quite abit even my OH has noticed. Could baby be engaged already? I remember when my first engaged and it feels exactly the same. And if so does this mean i could pop early?

Advice anyone?

Im a FTM babe so not much help but didn't want to read and run. I'm 31 weeks and my little one is currently 2/5ths engaged, midwife wasn't worried and said baby's can engage and disengage for the last couple of weeks. I also knew she had engaged before seeing midwife as my bump felt heavier and like she had dropped, also noticed lots of pressure on pelvis. Hope this helps a bit. Xxxxxx

My son was head down at 28 and breech at 31 and 34 weeks - head down at 36 then started to engage at 38

This little lady is transverse at 32!!

You think there's no more room? There is... Wait till your 41 weeks and fully engaged - that's no more room lol :)

Don't worry atm - your midwife is right! X

I've never heard of a baby engaging when in breech but I'm sure it's possible. This monkey flipped from head down to breech between 29 and 33 weeks and has decided he's comfy where he is so we're off to the antenatal clinic next week to discuss a section if he decides not to move.

That being said, there's still plenty of time and room for him to flip and this is comng from someone measuring ahead by a few weeks and is only 5ft! Previous baby was 8lb 6 on 75th centile so goodness knows what this one will be being well over the 90th!

Subsequent babies can pop in and out of being engaged right up until labour cus everything in your womb area is more stretchy. It doesn't indicate that you will pop early, that's still down to baby.

Thanks ladies! Ive been abit worried since last night but feel a lot better now i know other women have had the same. Fingers crossed he does flip some time soon xx

Very difficult for baby to engage when breech as this is a head measurement. If your bump hasn't dropped its unlikely you're about to go into labour. Babies little bum may be dropping in and out of your pelvis though??

I was breech last time at 34 weeks, so did the exercises off the spinning babies website but in the end it was handstands in the pool that turned her!
