Ok,

I had spotting at 10 dpo. Had lots of other symptoms, peeing constantly, really strong abdominal cramps and lower back pain. Waited for what felt like forever for af to make an appearance, which it did but 3 days late. Started off extremely light for a couple of days and wasn't sure if was af at all. Then got really really heavy, and passed lots of clots also. I am now on day 9 of my period, normally only lasts 4 or 5.

The same thing happened to me in august last year. I miscarried at 12 weeks 5 years ago

I have had three daughters, so know what it feels like to be pregnant, I really felt that I was. Do you think I've had a miscarriage? Or can it be linked with something else,

Also, a friend has said to me, that maybe I can't carry boys. What do u all think about this, is it a lot of rubbish or is it true that some women can't carry a certain sex. :-/

I've been doing a lot of research about this and can tell you that it's rubbish x

It is possible that you MCed hun. Your symptoms sound like mine when i mced. Did you get any stronger than normal cramps? You may need to see your doc incase you need a DNC Hun. They say 1 out of 3 pregnancies end in MC but most times they happen and you didn't even know you were pregnant. You may still even get a bfp on pregnancy stick since the hormones take time to leave your body. Best way to tell is to go see a doc though. Xx

I had terrible cramps, wasn't along with af though, I had these cramps 5 dpo. So bad that I had to call nhs at 4 am, was in so much pain, but they just passed, and got better the next da :-0

Yea.. Sharp stabbing cramps are what I got as well. I was curled into fetal position on my bed when I had the cramps because it hurt SO bad.

Absolutely. I couldn't lie flat out. I had to have the from of my forehead on the pillow and my knees pulled up to my chest. They actually felt like contractions.... I do think that I have miscarried, but I think it must have happened really really early as I never got a bfp, even after af was late by a few days

Well I'm very sorry hun. Do you think you will go in to the doctor to get checked out? Also, I know a friend who had a difficult pregnancy with her son because of a chromosome issue and the fact that he was a male didn't help (so she told me). She got toxicity during pregnancy and had to have an emergency C section. But I don't believe for a second that a woman's body would reject a boy. Xx

Defo sounds like a mc but its realy early and I wouldn't think it would hurt that bad so early on as not much to pass u realy should go to the docs asap and ask for a preg blood test to check if u have hcg in ur body and this way if u have mc it will then be on record cos they don't do any tests for recurent mcs until u have had 3 which is totaly crap I know,hope u are ok take care xxx

I had a chemical pregnancy last month. I knew I was pregnant in 2nd week of 2ww then tested day after af due - positive. Then started bleeding 2 days later, lasted 2 days, very heavy, cramps and clotting.

They call it a chemical rather than a miscarriage because it's so early, apparently lots of women have them without ever knowing. I'd have been so scared if I hadn't read about them on here.

I didn't go to dr or epu, but will do if it happens again - and as this has happened to you before you should go.

Also - a friend at work told me she can't carry girls - she has two boys and mc'd 5 girls - but these were all around 12-16 weeks. So there may be something in the not carrying boys/girls thing.

So sorry this happened to you, take it easy and look after yourself

This sounds similar to what ive had 2 months out of the last three.In each case though i got negs.not all the things you describe are the same but some especially the way your AF is.

I take an opposing view to whats already been explressed here though.For me and in my case it wasnt pregnancy.

I had thought the first time it happened that it was.Partly because it was such a deviation from the norm for AF and the sensations i got leading up to it and lateness of AF too but twice in three months....for me thats too unlikely to be i fell pregnant twice and lost both that soon.Ive MC'd before but well i can only speak for myself.

I felt like you the first time it happened,pregnant.Inspite of the BFN from the tests i did.But now i dont think it was or is for me.

Doesnt mean it isnt for you,just saying that in my case i dont believe it was and is (same thing just happened days ago).

and i would take suggestions that you can only carry one sex and not the other with a pinch of salt,people mean well when they say these things i am sure or they think they are being helpful but i dont believe its true.

I've had the same thing.
Last 2 cycles I've been on time but first 3-4 days very light, 1 day incredibly heavy/incredibly painful, then 3-4 days light again.
I've never ever had any pain or cramping in my whole history before, and both months I've been doubled up in pain unable to move!
Didn't bother testing either month as both were on time.
