2012.. Your views?

What's everyone think of the world "ending" in 2012? If I'm being honest it scares the life out of me when I think about it .. I keep convincing myself it's a load of rubbish because they said it was going to happen on the millennium and on the 06/06/2006..

What does everyone else think? x

I watched 2012 the other day and that scared the crap out of me but Tim said the world ain't gonna end!! What does scare me is all these places flooding like australlia and brazil! You never know when it's gonna be us!

I half watched it a while ago.. Apparently NASA have a statement on their website reassuring people that it won't happen, but it still sits at the back of my mind.. I try not to work myself up over natural disasters because there is nothing we can do to prevent them unfortunately x

I'm ready to embrace it if it does happen I'm 50/50 in believing it tbh - the world has to end one day but..... (gonna sound totally nutty but it is backed up by scientific proof lol) on the 12/12/2012 the planet that circles the whole solar system is going to be nearest to earth than ever before and scientists suspect high chance of advanced life on it sooooo ....

I find the subject fascinating myself....no too sure what I believe or not though! Think that would be horrific if it did end but hey! We would all be in the same boat so it's not too big an issue to me! Just wouldn't be nice if it was really traumatic and painful.
Also agree about the floods thing, UK is only a tiny island compared to these places, we would get wiped out if we had floods! X

I always think - well at least we'll all die together lol.

I have no idea tbh. But the natural disasters do make me think! I'm not religious now but was brought up that way and the stuff thats happening is all very biblical. (Sorry sound mad lol)

When Jesus was born the star that led people to him was actually the alignment of several planets and in 2012 there's supposed to be an alignment of all the planets! The thought of the world ending doesn't frighten me and I put this down to my faith and beliefs.

If it were to happen I'd like for us not to know about it! What could we do to prepare ourselves? Yup, nothing! Sounds like Armageddon all over again. I think the media likes to freak the bijeses out of us just for shits and giggles!

I heard that too Midnight, in this day and age, I can put money on it that if it were to happen we would know about it, people would be building something for us to live in to try to survive iykwim?? xx

I Hurd it was 12/12/2012 that's when the planets align and the other planet circling are solar system passes earth

I don't think anything will happen. If it does it will be something minor...I haven't heard too much about it so they can't be panicing about it all.

i think its the 21st of something my husband will prob remember more lol it was facinating to listen too but yes its to do with the mayan calender and they have been right about alot of things but its a spiritual change and not the end of the world so dont worry you will see 2013 lol
the mayan ruins are amazing and if you ever visit mexico it is a must to go see

the picture below is at the ruins and when the sun aligns in the hole i think its in march and september this has something to do with the calender
