20 week scan question

Hi if you have the information and all wouldnt mind sharing from your notes what if anything goes it say on your notes next to skull shape at scan xx

I have a report that has so many things on it!!!! I have checked with a friend who is attending the same hospital and she has the same details on her report i was beginning to worry they thought that they had to do a more detailed scan things on our are

Skull at scan
Skull shape at scan
Brain and ventricles at scan
Cerebellum at scan
Lips at scan
spine at scan
heart at scan
diaphram ar scan
heart at scan
stomach at scan
cord insertion at scan
cord vessels at scan
............ the list goes on anyway I have had so many problems this pregnancy and the latest is afi of 5 it shoul be between 8 and 18!!1 so very low amniotic fluid and it has stopped the baby moving as much and the skull shape was dolichocephaly until I filled my bladder and then it took normal shape

I am just worried that if I dont start making fluid there is a risk of the babys head being mis shaped!!!! and also the chance of me having to deliver early is high

what are the measurements of the skull on the report of yours???

Sorry I can't help Hun, I didn't get given any measurements at all which I'm gutted about but wanted to wish you the best. I'm sure your little girls measurement are fine.. Are they going to scan you again to double check? What did they say about it? Sorry you've had such a rough time if it

When is your next appoitnment, are you under consultant hospital led care or midwife, as I would want to ask them so they can explain the scan results in more detail and tell you more information, it may be all ok and fine tho, but they need to tell you to put your mind at ease.
I don't know yet as my 20 weeks not till the 27th, but can let you know if they note anything down for me.

did they say if your bleed , pocket of blood had been reabsorbed yet?

Your pregnancy has been a right roller coaster hasn't it Hang in there, and ask them for some answers

Hi JJ mum yeah the pocket of blood has sorted itself out but my ~AFI level is away donwn at 5 which is a dangerous amount of fluid, getting scanned again on the 19th by a head Dr and consultant but my community midwife has told me to put in a complaint about the care I have been getting, me and OH went our 20 scan on Fri and were sent away and told to go back on Tuesday as they couldnt get enough of the leg measurments, but when I went back on Tuesday on my own cause I sai to OH just to go to work as it was only leg measurements, there was a consultant waiting to scan me beacuse they werent sure of the shape of the babys skill on Friday, so they totally told us lies on Fri, and they never gave me away any notes to cover themselves!!!! i have the doctor this morning as I am just feeling totally stressed and under the weather then I have the consultant on Tues to talk over the scan notes xxx
