My poor DH has been on a BD ban for 3 days coz he had his sperm test this morning. He's been miserable. He he he. I've quite enjoyed the rest!!!

Serves me right for all that BDing, I've only got a UTI!

Had to take 3 antibiotics last night. The Dr, Chemist and medical book said that are safe to take in pregnancy, but still worried as it is very very early stages if I am (3DPO)

Ah hun try not to worry. They would not have given you them if there was even the slightest chance of harming the baby if your pg. Hope you feel better soon. It's better to have the anitbiotics for a short time than an infection roaming round in the early stages

Thanks for reassuring me.

I was given 100 antibiotics last month as I had another UTI then and the Dr said keep these for other attacks. I am seeing a specialist again on 22nd Nov as I have had recurring UTI for nearly 2 years

It is 3DPO but already started to look for signs

How are you Trudyscrumptious76, are you getting sorted?

I'm ok - today! DH had sperm test yesterday, he's really worried bless him. Especially as he's a twin & his twin had 3 kids. Get results in 10 days. I get my blood test results tomorrow.. I'm almost hoping there's something wrong with my progesterone leves. At least there would be a reason why it's taking so long.

You have every right to whinge. It's not nice to have an infection especially a UTI.

It hasn't felt like a year TBH. It's a relief that someone else is in charge now! I'm actually hoping not to fall PG in the next few months as I'd be due in the summer. I'm not good when I'm too warm. Difficult to please?? Moi??

Ok, stressed now over taking the antibiotics so seeing a Dr tonight at 5.40pm

Sorry hun. Try not to worry, you need to be healthy and relaxed at this stage. I know it's easier said than done but the antibiotics will get you back to 100% so you can give your all to your future bean.

It was july, Aug and Sept that OV was day 19 and this month day 14 so won't know till next week if it is still 9 days long- will have to tell the Dr about Agnus Castus otherwise he may say that there was nothing wrong.

So you seeing your Dr tomorrow?

The receptionist was a bit stupid she said 17.40. I said ok, she said see you at twenty to 5 I said oh I thought you said twenty to six not twenty to 5, she said yeah 17.40pm

Ok update

Went and saw the Dr tonight.

a) UTI, Antibiotics and TTC. He said as my antibiotics were pencillion based and were fine to take even if I conceived at the weekend. He also gave his sympathies to my husband and said he was probably knackered as we did it so much and he said that probably caused the UTI

B) Luteal phase. He said that it is unusual for a 9 day phase and that the other Dr wrote to me on the 28th Sep but the letter hasn't arrived. He said that even if the egg implants itself it triggers hormones that stop the lining of the womb from shredding. He said even if I get a positive OPK on day 19 the whole process still happens on day 14 (I was lost by then).

I said well as the other Dr didn't write to me sooner I started taking Agnus Castus and OV'd spot on day 14. He said the herb could have interfered with the OPK result .

.... but he indicated that if I went back he would start doing blood tests from day 21 to test my Progestogene levels, but I will give it a few months before I go back and will stick to Agnus Castus. I said I bet you hate the internet then as he asked how I found out about the luteal phase and shortness, and he nodded!
