I'm struggling to know what to do with him. He'll eat full meals, pudding and fruit snacks at nursery but at home he will only eat meat. Won't eat fruit, veg or carbs unless it's pasta, and then he asks for more food just before bedtime. It's driving me crackers and I don't know what method to use for the best :wall2: advice please!

That's a new one, I was going to say my boy only wants meat at the moment but if he's eating it at nursery then it's odd he's not at home. Maybe ask nursery how he is with meals and tell him that he's always good at nursery and that he needs it to grow big and strong? Xx

I've tried, it doesn't work. I'm not sure where to go from here as he eats without an issue at nursery. I'm putting this down to other children eating sensibly so him copying but obviously he doesn't have this at home

Hmmm maybe, hope things resolve and he begins eating better or more of his meals. We've had it today munchkin only wants meat and peas and green beans but at least it's something more than meat ha xxx

If he's eating a good variety of fruit and veg at nursery I'd try not to worry and go with it, surely its a phase? Is the meat plain or with sauce, if he'd eat bolognaise try sneaking in some grated carrot. Does he have snacks at home?

He's only in nursery 3 mornings a week so it's not enough to provide a balanced diet. It's been getting gradually worse for about 6 months now and he won't eat anything with sauce unless it's gravy or ketchup and even then he still only eats the meat. He'll only eat bolognese if it's just got tomatoes in it, if I blend any other veg in he point blank refuses it :wall2:

I give him snacks at home but if I give fruit, he'll ignore it and ask for junk. If I don't give in, he doesn't eat at all and then will only eat meat for his dinner even though he must be hungry. Losing the will with him :wall2:
