Right how many week should you get your first scan?

The last time i was pregnant i received a letter long before 12 weeks but this time i am roughly 12 weeks just now and havent received a letter for my scan which i find quite strange

I got a letter for the midwife for 20 weeks and havent even got my scan yet i thought it might be the way the hospital do it now u get a scan at 20 weeks instead of 12 weeks?

I don't know if it's different in different areas but I have received letters for my midwife appointment at about 10weeks and my scan at about 12weeks. It might be worth ringing your GP or the hospital to double check hun x
