1st birthday

So madams first birthday is fast approaching and I had my heart set on buying her a lovely wooden dollhouse, I know she wouldn't be interesting in playing with it yet but wanted something special for her 1st that she could have for years, anyway OH has said it's not happening (

So.......I have been looking at a rocking dinosaur but not too sure, she is a very active 9 month old and is already cruising around the furniture and I'm not sure if she'll sit still long enough to enjoy it. Has anyone had one or something similar and what did your lo's think of it?

I have one for ruby but hers is the pink horse . She is still too young to play with it thou .
