Hello Ladies,

this is my first post, new to the forum, be gentle with me :)

well me and the OH have been TTC for 18 months or more, and it just isn't happening, it's beginning to get me down now. OH wants me to go to docs but i'm scared of what they'll tell me.

any advice ladies?

xx Rhia... xx

Hiya and welcome :)

Definately go to the doctors - after a year you are entitled to diagnosis and the whole process takes so long that you would technically still be naturally ttc for 6 months at the very least.

At the end of the day, if there is something wrong then something can be done about it but you need to know about it first ;)

Very very veeeeeery few people are literally sterile, even less with no previous health issues.

Welcome, there is always a friendly ear & some good advice to be found here, xx

Welcome! I'm new too and everyone is so understanding and helpful.

It scary going to the docs but it's better to know what you're facing (if anything)! Most of my friend's ttc have unexplained infertility so there's nothing actually medically wrong. Stress is a silent contributor to infertility so if you are stessed try being kind to yourself and do fun things to make you happy.

Xx

Dont feel like you are alone hun, I was worried about going to the doctors too but they are there to help.

They will probably send you for some blood tests to check you are ovulating, then maybe a scan of your ovaries, depending on the results from them your doctor can talk you through what she thinks is the next best step for you and your OH.

Its best to get checked out, and if you are in any doubt of any questions we are all here to help you xxx

Hiya hun me and my fella have been ttc for almost 2 years so in March i decided to go to the docs, they sent me for two blood test, the first one came back ok but showed i had no imunity to rubella so i had to go for the MMR jab, the docs called on Monday to say i have to go in to diascuss the latest test results so im slightly crapping myself but i guess at least if theres somthing wrong they may be able to fix it (please God) . I would deffo go, if it turns out theres nothing wrong they you can put your mind at rest and if there is you can get some help :) Good luck xx
