16 week appointment

Had my 16 week appointment today at 17 weeks instead of last week because of 'staff shortages' at my docs surgery (ie:my mw is off sick). What a waste of time! Thank god a community mw came to my house otherwise it would of been a trek to my doctors for a, in my opinion, pointless appointment! The mw had written done that I'd already had the baby and was expecting a post natal check to take place. She was nice enough but all she did was check my blood pressure! God I wish I could afford to go private! Thank god I don't have to see them again til 28 weeks (2nd baby)! She didn't bother reading my notes, expected me to tell her everything! I asked her why shed ticked high dependancy on my notes and she seemed unsure (eventually she managed to 'guess' that iota because of my back problems! Anyway enough ranting from me! Lol x 20 week scan is 3 weeks today! Wooohoooo x

aww im sorry it wasnt that great! All appointments are important and something you look forward too and then there is incompitent ppl out there that ruin it for some of us. Well yeay for 3 weeks to 20 weeks scan.. i have not even been given a date yet

I sometimes wonder why they bother! Sorry it wasn't a better experience for you hun.

How come your next one is at 28 weeks? Mines at 23 weeks

Think that's just how they work it up here x if it was my first baby they'd see me at 25 weeks but I skip that appointment and see them at 28 instead x

thats not so good you didnt even get to hear hb iv got mine tomorow at the clinic
