Somebody remind me never to give birth in America!!!!!!

-inducing her just because it was her due date
-examining her every 5 mins causing her obvious discomfort and pain
-giving an epidural as standard procedure
-keeping the poor girl flat on her back the whole time. N wonder she's not dilating
-offering her no breathing/coping techniques when the poor girl is distressed and panicking

all this and she's only just 2cm dilated, poor girl

Its rediculous isnt it! Ive watched a few of those episodes and theyre ALWAYS on their backs and always have an epi. Grrrrr.

And now they're giving her a c-section!! Poor baby just didn't want out yet!

They won't even let her hold the baby now !! God, don't know why I watch this!!

they tend to give epi as 1st call of pain relief

Its so medical ! I loved being able to labour in my own way at home until I felt ready , and how I was at least listened too , god that sounds awful :( poor baby and poor mummy

I still haven't seen this. What channel is it? They always seem to want everything done fast in America, or is that just my perception?

I think it was Sky living?
I was amazed they still take the baby off the mum to go in a nursery, and they did it before she even got to see her properly, all cos mum had a bit of a temperature.
The poor girl was given the drip without even a pessary or whatever. No wonder she wasn't ready for labour :(

they are normally on mtv or sky living teen moms is like a follow on thing of it too
i wouldnt like an american birth :( also does any1 watch baby story its also american and they have all their family waiting in the waiting room and as soon as baby is born they all come in the room i would not be impressed
