Jessica sleeps, or used to sleep, 7pm til 6am then she wakes for a bottle. But over the past weeks it's becoming earlier and earlier and we are at 5am.
She won't go back to sleep so is having her first nap at 8am as she's tired by then.
Sometimes she has an afternoon one around 2ish but I'd say most of the time she's awake right through then.
She's eating plenty along with 17oz milk or so in three bottles so why is she waking earlier? Hunger? We have blackout blinds, house is silent.....
Any ideas?

maybe she's just needing less sleep as she gets bigger? I am finding my 14 mo used to sleep 6pm-6am waking at 2-3am for a feed. But now she is going 6pm- 5.30am with no bottle in the night and wanting to get up! which is ok weekdays as my alarm is set for 5.50am anyway, lol.

their sleep patterns never stay the same for too long - things always change them - learning new skills, teething, illness, change of feeding pattern - different activities, daytime nap length! etc :)

I had the same with my boy but around 11 months. Itried loads of things and then read that they can use their morning nap as an extension to thier nighttime sleep. I tried pushing his morning nap back to more like 9-9.30am. I did it in 5-10 mins increments every day and did my best to keep him awake. By the time I pushed it to 9.30am he was sleeping till 6.30am (from 4.30am,) and he did a shorter morning nap to compensate.

the nap at 8am wont help. you need to push her past that 8am nap. early mroning nap actually regress their sleeping habits.

she will be grumpy and miserablebut get the 8am back maybe 1/2hour/1 hour at a time untill shes having a alte morning nap maybe - that should help. Or say a 10.30 nap and a 2.30 nap

my son naps for 1.5 hours max a day and sleeps 7-6.30 - any more than that and hes up at 5am! :)
