Hey all - I posted earlier about how sick I've been this week - along with that I've got some pains; I've had pains right through the pregnancy but these are quite low down (as in cervix I guess) and are sharp, stabbing pains then an ache around the bottom of my bump - and I'm quite worried -do I need to be?

Hi congrats on the pregnancy hun.
If i remember rightly i had various pains and twinges which were all probably stretching pains as the uterus expands.
But if you really are concerned hun get in touch with your midwife and see what she advises

Thank you. I emailed my friend who had a baby not long ago and she said that her sickness came and went right through and thought that's what the pains were - it's just all new to me and nobody tells you that it hurts and that it's scary and I don't know many people nearby I can talk to
