i just had chicken noodle soup for lunch it was the kind you get in the packet, you can only buy it from the butchers here, can never find it in tesco/asda/morrisons

anyways it was well tasty! also had crusty bread with it

We've just had homemade leek & potato soup with toast was yum!!

I seem to be working my way through the entire contents of my fridge.... which has led to some pretty random combinations of potato and hot mango pickle and yogurt! noodles and soup sounds much better!

It's the one in the Annabel Karmel book, I made it for Mhairi yesterday, but it's toooooo delicious to freeze in baby size portions so it's getting munched by the whole houslehold!

Mhairi actually likes it too.....first time she's ever liked anything I've made!

I buy chicken noodle soup all the time with my shopping from tesco or morrisons, i add a whisked up egg about 2 minutes before serving its lush
