Your Mantlepiece....

I normally have 3 candles on my mantlepiece but I want something different. I am looking at mantle clocks but don't want an oldie looking one if that makes sense. I don't want flowers- can't afford to buy new ones every week!

Here's the fireplace- what do you think?

(Kina- the oilburner and melts are there my flat smells like I've been doing the washing today... I haven't! )

Im at my nans at the min, and iv done a bit of a changing rooms in her living room for her, wacked a great big mirror leant on top of her fireplace and that looks relli nice, ermm otherwise... no idea, found a pretty and unpractical one on google, awww nice !

I have two black ceramic candle holders on the right side (one taller then the other) and 4 cars... 3 of them my bf built and one that I bought at the last Ford show lol.... also got a big black mirror hanging there as well!!!

On the bottom I have a plant picture of me with my Granda when I was little and two black square ceramic candle holders with cream candles in them

We've got 3 of those curved glass photo frames on ours, and a glass edged clock in the middle. Then at the bottom got a couple of vases with wooden flower things and some candles.

i don't have a mantle piece

but i do have a side board which i tend to use as a mantel piece.. At the mo, it has 2 vases of flowers (one white flowers, and one red and pink roses), a tifanny lamp. and two candle holders that are like little bird cage type things.

On top of my tv, i have 3 small vases, each with one rose in.

Ive got loads of candles and the like in a box...... somewhere.........

I don't have a mantlepiece but if I did I would have my wooden carvings on them. (My as in I own them not as in I made them!) I've a couple of elephants, a hippo and a man in a boat.

The tall vases have gone now as they are at risk of being Stanleyed and I've a few more tealight holders on top.

I just love showing off our mirror. It's one of my favourite items. It has all the Absolut Vodka flavours on. My OH 'reclaimed' it from the attic of the Revolution bar we both worked in when we met.

i looooooooooove candles! especially scented ones- vanilla and cinnamon are my favourites! not got any in tho atm our mantelpiece is full of first birthday cards
