Found a name that we both love, feels right and feels like he is already part of the family.......Zakaria

Told our 7 year old who said " don't like it, there is a boy at school called zack and I don't like him!!!

Do you think he will get used to it? Really don't wana change it, already he feels like a Zakaria

I'm not keen on the name personally but I had a friend at school who was definitely a zach - but he was Zachary - if it feels right then go with it. My Mum always said that when they're born you know what their name is.

I was Rebecca right until I was born then they changed their mind and called me Joanna. My cousin was going to be Nichola and they told everyone she was Nichola cus that's the Name they picked snd when my uncle got back in the room she had changed it to Carolyn lol.

It's very biblical I like biblical names as they're traditional but also not that often used. I was the only Joanna in my class and only know one other

I like the name but prefer the traditional spelling - Zachariah

I actually prefer the original spelling too. There's less chance of spelling it wrong and pronouncing it wrongly
