Bumbo seats?

MIL has offered to get us one for christmas and just wondering peoples thoughts/experience of them and if its worth having one?

my lo hated his! i bought it and he must have sat in it about 6 times! im sure each baby is different but it was a no go for us. could she not get you a second hand one then if your lo doesnt like it she wont have wasted all that cash?

Thanks Amy, thats a good idea...saying that shes not short of a bob or two ha ha (just kidding).....Ill maybe have a look online then, I think there was well over 700 on ebay so should be able to get a bargain!

My LO never really liked being in his either. By the time he could use it his legs were a bit chunky for it too, he did fit but he seemed a bit wedged tbh. It was good for us for about a couple of weeks, so not worth it for us. I've still got it so will see if the next LO gets more use out of it!

Like Amy said you can get them really cheap 2nd hand, if I'd realised I wouldn't have bought brand new coz I've seen them in new condition for a fiver! And we got it with the tray too and they tray was never used, not once lol

I found it invaluable! My lo didn't care for it too much towards the end. But before I got her a high hair this was what she ate in and then I left it at my parents house so they had a seat. When she started getting frustrated being on her back but not able to hold herself up it was brilliant as well. I'd get one again if I have another.

Tegan loved hers & we used to feed her in it, super handy if we stayed away as saved trying to take a highchair x

Yay here, especially with the tray. It's been sooo useful for feeding, although Sophia can now get out of on her own...!!

Mothercare have an offer on at the moment - 29.99 including the little tray.

We have one here in Oz and I got my Mum to get us the Mothercare one for when we come home. I think the Bumbo is a Yay!

Think it's only worth it of you get the tray as well, otherwise they would get bored...
