My little dude has certainly been growing a lot recently! Woke up the morning with my first 2(!!!!!) stretch marks!!!! :D :yay:

Now I feel like a proper mummy to be! they weren't there last night so they r brand new (and red!) from Pip's latest growth spurt.

I'm gonna embrace them and treasure them as my boy gave them to me! A long lasting reminder that my body can do what it is supposed to do and carry a baby :D

I'm not gonna let them irritate or upset me, as one day when Pip has flown the nest, they will be my reminder that he was once inside of me and only I could give him what he needed. And I shall remind his girlfriend (or even boyfriend!) that his mummy knows him best :)

Wear ur stretch marks with pride girlies - only our bodies can nurture 2 cells into a beautiful baby. Men suck :p woman rule :pompom:

I have to say that when I moaned about mine the OH said " I love each and everyone because they are little reminders that our baby is growing nice and big and strong"! lol

I think I've done well getting to 24 weeks and only just getting them (but I did have a lot of belly for Pip to grow into cos I lost 2 and a half stone before I got pg).

But I love them so I don't care!

I think there is always a bright side to everything (well, almost everything!)

Aw, nice positive way of looking at them :D

However, me don't likey :( I've done quite well upto now as I've only got a few on my boob and the odd faint ones on my hip area, but none whatsoever on my tummy! I'm a religious applier of cocoa butter/stretch mark oil too!

Yeah I have moisturised but Pip has not given in! He was insistent to gove me some lasting reminder! Lol!

 my boy xx

i love this! your right we should be proud of our lady lines! they are natural and not something to freak out about! i blame them horrid glossy magazines where they pick and poke fun at at celebs bodies or show the 'correct way' to look (which in my eyes looks just like an eating disorder patient)

i love your attitude :) i might celebrate for you and go to the bakers and get a pasty for my dinner today haha

Yayayyay! That's awesome, I'm quite excited about them too. Growing up with a lot of women, my Mum always taught us that stretch marks are beautiful and should be worn as badges of honour. I totally agree! Also you're definitely right, women totally rule and men (ie. our hubbies) massively drool! xxxxx

aww! you are so right about the stretch marks, little reminders of mummys hard work :D although so far I only have them on my boobs!! we had a big growth spurt this week so Im suprised I dont have any on my tummy yet! Im sure they'll get there though :D x x x

Awwh, i wish i could have your frame of mind about them, i haven't had any yet, and a firm user of cocoa butter too.... i jus hope i don't get too down, but after reading this i shouldn't moan,...

Nice post! :) x

I love the positive mental attitude!! I will definately try to embrace them when they appear on me, I don't think it will be long as I am growing quickly now too.

Aw, love your take on stretch marks! It's true, we should be proud to have them!
