Xmas craft thread with pics

I thought this may be a good idea as there are loads of us that have been making things for xmas and want to show them off.

What have you been making pics please and i thought we could swap ideas.

Ive made an advent calendar out of felt (well its nearly finished ), i also nicked the baby hand and footprint candle idea which turned out great.

Ive got some shrink plastic now i want to make dd hand and foortprints into keyrings as stocking fillers for xmas.

I will add pics soon.

Oh I totally forgot I did a cross stitch santa ages ago at Minxy's Christmas Craft night

I've been doing all sorts with the kids but I guess you mean grown up stuff. Just the cross stitch them LOL

I haven't had time really with work, illness etc etc but I made Seren an advent calender

we are making biscuits and mince pies today and finishing off our cards

and I am making 2 santa sacks but they aren't finished yet. I sewed them together and dyed them yesterday.

How did you get Sophie to keep her hands and feet still???
I bought some plate painting kits and thought i'd do hand and foot prints on them and give one to my mum. But as i press her hand down she clenches her fist, therefore ruining my plate

One of those candles belongs to my nephew hence the huge hand

But Sophie's feet were easy and her i cheated with her hand i had her handprint in clay then used some more clay to take a mould of her hand then inked the mould and printed it. Hope that makes sense but it can be done if you have a few of you one to hold her hand open but i would stick to feet

Beanie i did an advent calender too yours looks great. I cheated with the sacks i brought a cheap one from the £1 shop then sewed dd name onto it as it would of cost me more in fabric.
