You might be best talking this over with your GP or midwife to put your mind at rest.
I'd not like to comment as I am not medically qualified. I can understand your concern but I really think you are better hearing it from someone who can speak professionally and help explain to you. Was a lead apron used? Afaik thats standard in hospitals but I have no idea about dentists. Have you contacted your dentist by any chance to talk to him/her also and ask?
All I found online that seemed to actually know what it was talking about was this paragraph on a site.
X-Rays
Unnecessary x-rays are discouraged for pregnant women. However, if you must have an x-ray while you are pregnant, rest assured that the risk to your unborn baby is considered minimal, since your uterus is shielded by a lead apron and the amount of radiation that scatters during the x-ray and passes through parts of your body not covered by the apron is negligible. So if you develop a dental condition that requires an x-ray and not having one poses a risk to your health, go ahead and have it.
Sorry I can't help more, but I really don't feel, nor am I qualified to give a definate answer to you.
Try not to worry too much till you can speak to someone though
