Wrong LMP dates

Hello everyone

I ad calculated my last AF was 16/11 but after speaking to my midwife she said it was more likely 20 October!!!

She also said that I probably get my dating scan at 15 weeks instead of 12 as hospital is over run.

I am really anxious and nervous and was considering a private scan - has anyone ever done this before and would you reccomend it for peace of mind??

Why does your midwife think it was more likely to be 20th October?

I've not had a private dating scan before but I did use a private company to have a 4D scan, they also do dating scans, nuchal fold scans etc.... I had no qualms with them and will use them again (if I ever get pregnant).

If you've got the money to spare and you want peace of mind, I'd go for a private scan if I were you. It's the cost element that puts a lot of people off.
