Would you ride....??

Amusement park rides if their was a possibility you could be pregnant? So a few days off af being due & feel could have finally happened (even tho had a few bfn already!) & were taking my daughter to scarefest at Alton towers tomorrow, but although I don't want to miss out on the fun or make any1 question why I'm not going on any of the rides I usually love , I also don't want to do anything that could disturb a possibly burrowing bean? Waited far too long.

What are your views ladies? Do you think it would be way to early to matter?? Xx

Hi,

When I was pregnant last time, I took my Nieces and Nephew to an adventure playground with 150ft high death slides, I was on them all day, and as you could imagine my stomach was in my mouth most of the day, I did wonder whether did have a part to play in my M/C.

Also, at the gym you are not allowed to use the Powerplates if you are PG and they shake you a lot.

Maybe look on the Alton Towers website?

It does say on certain rides if your pregnant or have health defects, then ride at your own risk as it is advised you DO NOT go on them... covers their own backs really incase you have m/c or heart attack so you can't sue

Umm, well i would ride on the rides.

If what you are suggesting is true, then rides would cause us to have our period and it doesn't.

It would damage other cells and it doesn't.

That is just me

My stepmum went to Florida when she was preganant with my brother and she went on all the amusements and all was fine althou she didnt know she was pregnant x

Depends on the ride surely! Maybe dont do the ones that wizz you at crazy speed or spin you til your dizzy, but enjoy the tea cups ha ha!

I tend to agree with Star Fish on this one, I would not risk going on the 'Big' rides but the baby rides should be fine

Lol, unfortunately the tea cups don't cut it anymore!!

I'm torn don't want to raise suspicion & have a rubbish day if I'm not, but then obv don't want to do anything that could go against me??

I'm kind of inclined to agree with you Louise, but just a bit of doubt?!? May avoid oblivion, rita & air etc & go on 13 & hex as they're not as fast x

Tell people you have a bit of an upset tummy and so you are going to avoid anything that might make you puke as that would be gross. That probably helps draw the line at what you should avoid just in case and wont raise suspicion.

Oh I don't think I'd be able to resist the rides....think about all the things people do to themselves when they have no idea they are pregnant and all is fine. Why not so an early response test and if It's BFN then go for it and have a fun day.... just my opinion I know it conflicts with others.....

Haha, well traci not every1 was going to agree on this, was just interested on every1s views as it's a bit of a random 1. A few days earlier I wouldn't have questioned it & obviously a few days later & I'll know anyway!!! I'll c how the day goes, I'll test in the morning just in case but don't hold much hope for bfp as tested twice today & absolutely nothing there not even an evap!!! Lol just something convincing me!!

I agree with louise, i would be on all the time otherwise. plus if your that early on so that you dnt know yet i wouldnt of thought it could harm too much. x
