If your 4 month old had a temp of 38.6 and seemed very unwell after immunisations yesterday?

My lg never got sick so this is new for me.

Calpol etc aren't working. Do I just wait it out?

I'd be inclined to ring the Drs and see if you could speak to the nurse who did the immunisations. That's what we were advised if we were concerned after Alfie's jabs. If you can't speak to the nurse I'd ask for an appointment with someone. Hope your LO is okay x

I would call your hv. My lo had a temp after jabs but it wasn't that high and only lasted the same day as the jabs. If you call I'm sure someone will put your mind to rest

Thanks all, called and they said to keep treating with calpol etc until tomorrow morning, if still above 38 take him to hospital. Crossing fingers it down by morning poor guy x x x

I never think to call HV. Maybe because i don't see them that often x x

His a lot better, temp was 37.6 when he woke up and did climb a bit but so did the weather :) calpol seemed to settle him a bit. His now happily snoring away yay
Thank you for asking!
