worried again..... sorry!!!

i am really worried about, i know i have a lazy baby, but he really is not moving much at all (that i can feel).

another thing i'm worried about is that i have tummy pains right down low under my belly, whihc really hurt when i sit up,

and.... i usually have LOADS of discharge and the past 2days... nothing, i havent had any really at all, (maybe a tiny tiny wet speck in my knickers... sorry tmi)

am i worrying about nothing, i feel like im losing it!!!!!! i just want my baby out so i know that he is ok

my baby isnt much of an active baby but im not worrying, i have a doppler so if i havent felt her move in a couple of days or so i use that! have you got a doppler??

Oh you sound really fed up If you are worried try to get him moving about, Im sure you know what works for your LO but if it doesnt work give the MW a call, better to be safe hun even if its nothing in the end.

i have tried just laying down, in dark room and concentrating on him... nothing
Ice cold water... nothing
Ice lollys.... nothing
ive been boucing about and wobbling my belly.... but still nothing

i'm sure he is just being very stuben *like his daddy* hehe... but i wish he was more active!!!
i'm getting the odd BH, but even they have slowed down to practicially nothing now.

i dont have a doupler... wish i did to be honest! if he hasn't moved ny 1ish im gonna give her a call!!! just for peace of mind! i have had to go up there several times becuase he hasnt moved and everytime they put my on the monitor, the kicks to much it looses contact!.... i can tell he's gonna be a troublesome one! hehe

Have you got a doppler? Might be worth having a listen! He's probably so squished up in there that he's struggling to find anywhere to move bless him! Or realy cold water and lay down quietly and have a gentle prod of your tummy and see if he wakes up?

This is a good sign from what I've heard? Could be your cervix softening/opening ready for labour! Oooh keep an eye on that Could be the start of things!

I don't think this means anything. If I've read right (no doubt someone will be along to correct me if I'm wrong!) discharge at this stage can help soften the cervix ready for dilation. Maybe it's job has been done now and your cervix is "favourable"??

I personally wouldn't be worried, I'd try and get baby moving and once you can feel him again, I'd be looking for more labour signs!

Yeah that's the best idea I'm sure he's just kicking the hell out of your back or something! I bet he's thinking "what am I doing wrong?! I'm kicking away like you wanted!! Can't you feel it?!" lol!

It's always best to get checked if you're worried... xx

In the days before Sam was born he hardly moved at all. It could be your LO is preparing to come meet you.

If you are really concerned i would ring your MW.

If your baby is engaged then they tend not to move as much as they simply are not able to.

If you try lying down and with your hands feel all round your bump for his legs or hands and push gently against them. Or just gently push your bump with your fingers anywhere to see if it gets a reaction. I used to prod my bump on and off if LO was quiet for a day. Quite often would get a kick or squirm back. Rest your hands all over it slowly and you may feel gentle movement.

Apparently babies often go quiet prior to labour starting. Conserving energy.

If you are still concerned if you've not felt movement then give MW a call and nip in and have her put the Doppler round. Even your GP can do that fwiw.
