Wish me luck in my state of utter pathecticity

I'm not convinced "pathecticity" is good english but it sounds far better than "patheticness" and anyhow the sentiments are the same.

Could I appeal to each and every one of you to squeeze your eyes shut and *wish* very hard that somehow between now and tomorrow the entire GCSE Maths curriculum will somehow enter my head and stick there.

You'll have gathered by now that my Maths resit is tomorrow. I am hopeless at Maths. Is it true that no university will take you if you don't have a C grade in GCSE Maths? Cause that is so stupid if it is.

AND THEN I have AS levels on Wednesday and Friday...History and Geography, hurrah.

Wish me luck. Pray for me. Meditate. Dance widdershins around your nearest rath. Sacrifice a lamb. Sacrifice your OH. Don't care what you do, I just have to pass the damn things

Hmmm I cant believe thats true? As long as you werent planning on studying maths lol!
I would phone a couple of uni admissions and ask if you are worried, might make you relax a bit if there is a bit less pressure.
I was told I needed chemistry a-level to do any science degree which turned out to be a load of rubbish after i struggled through it! there are always options you dont know about if you dont get the grades you hope for, so dont worry

Not sure about the uni thing, I know some places make you do an entrance test in English if you don't have the grades so it may be the same for Maths. I'm sure you will get the grades anyway.
